About Jeff Hardy
“I love to write. I excelled as an English major during my college drop-in years. I ended up with a healthcare planning career that required me to write a lot of proposals, reports, articles and speeches. But since I was 17 years old, my avocation has been writing songs. I always have a song or two in my head. I sing them to myself while life adds the lyrics. Sometimes the songs become cohesive entities. Sometimes they get recorded. Sometimes I really make a fool of myself and record them on YouTube. But most of the time they just hum away with my heartbeat supplying backup. That’s because I am a song. I like to play me.”
About My Songs
“I don’t usually write a song with an idea in mind. In most instances I write for or about someone or else I write without an aim, a purpose, a reason. So, I write with someone in mind; someone I think about while coming up with the lyrics and melody. Then again, sometimes I just write a song because it comes to me and won’t go away until I get it out.”
